Did I bump a nerve?

WHile giving myself a site injection in the bicep, with a 1in. needle, my bicep flinched real hard. I just figured it was a spasm so I then moved the needle in again at the same place, and it happened again. Finally realizing not to do it again, I moved it to another spot. My question is, did I hit a nerve, I thought the main one ran under the humurus on the tricep side.

use a 25g 5/8 next time, and yes most likely you've hit a nerve to make your arm flinch like that
