Hay all,
I normally do not attempt to expose and or garner support for political issues from co workers family or friends, I simply "Think Globally and Act Locally", however in this instance I think the powers that be have abused their authority and made unsubstantiated claims to foster a hidden agenda to essentially deprive the American Public of choices for their own personal health care.
DHEA is a hormone that naturally occurs in the human body, as we age is sharply decreases so that by age 50 our body's produce half the levels that we did in our youth. DHEA is dubbed the "Mother Hormone" because the body uses it as a substrate to produce a variety of other hormones, which also deplete as we age. DHEA has always been readily available in the US and abroad. Senator Grassley of Iowa is proposing a bill to ban DHEA in the US. There is virtually no research to substantiate their claims, that DHEA is a potent Anabolic Steroid and has potential to be abused.
I have attached a thread that goes into detail about this issue if you have the time and are concerned about your personal health care choices I urge you to read the thread and contact Senator Grassley's office by phone, Email, or snail mail and demand an explanation for their bogus claims, and for the wasting of US tax dollars to foster an agenda that benefits corporate interests.
