Dextrose Substitute

I coat a tablespoon with honey then mix it in. I don't use a whole tablespoon. It probably works out to about 1/2 a teaspoon. I'm apprehensive to use too much sugar since I'm on keto.

You could buy some Ultra Fuel by Twinlab (It's pretty cheap) or just eat some sweettarts or throw in some honey, or a powerade type drink.

Ideally you want liquid post workout in the shake so it is absorbed quicker unless you liquidize a snickers i dont think it's good + sinckers has fat you dont want fat in your post workout shake (unless u're on keto but then u dont want carbs)

Honey is good but not as fast absorbing as glucose BUT i've heard that research shows that Honey aids recovery
