developing chest off of ribcage....

how do you all develop your chest in the bottom corners..I was told pull overs and dips for tone and decline bench for mass...any thoughts...

What do you mean bottom 'corners'? I know of pectoralis major and minor. There's no way you can isolate the 'sides or corners' of your pecs, the muscles run horizontally across the body, and you're either working the upper or lower part of it. If you don't like the corners, thank genetics for that one. Anyway, if you want the bottom part to develop, you have to work the entire lower pec. Declines and angled dips may work it well. Though, what you were told, about the toning and mass building, there's no such thing as 'toning' a muscle. if you're looking for the toned shape, you're going to have to lose the bf% or get bigger muscles to show through. As for mass, compound movements are the way to go (ie. all pressing motions).

I think he is refering to the pectoralis minor. There is pectoralis minor and major and the major is two muscles in its self which is top and bottom as you were saying. You can develope the sides if im right and ive done it. Just doing pullups and bench should help the most, it is pretty much impossible to isolate any muscle and most people apparently do not understand that. Also i do not understand where people get that you can tone a muscle or make it bigger (mass). Getting "tone" has very little to do with your muscles, but rather it has to do with your weight and bf % as you were saying. To be "tone" loose some weight. However if you have very little muscle I don't see how that will help. If you want to put on mass eat a hell of a lot and work out like you should. If you want to get "tone" just cut the calories and maybe run some while working out the same. I think everyone gets this from those stupid info comercials and magazines, god they are dumb!!!!!!

actually the pec minor is under the major, and u cant see it

its attached to your scapula and controls your ribcage

A wider grip stresses the outer portion of the muscle more. Although it will be hard to change the shape of the pecs.
