Developing a tolerance to testosterone

Tatyana

Do people on HRT/TRT develop a tolerance to testosterone?

Have any of you noticed that you have developed a tolerance to any type of steroid?

If so, how long did it take?

How did you work around it?

no

AR down regulation is a myth

there is the perception of tolerance though if you do high androgen cycles

I have heard some lads on another board say that you do.

Do you think it is dose and length of cycle dependant?

Some of this does not exactly make sense, as birth control pills would stop working if it did apply to physiological doses.

if that were true then HRT / TRT ( testtosterone therapy) for men would eventually bottom out and never work

but that is not the case is it :artist:

I doubt it, unless your body develops a tolerence to its own test over time as well, since HRT basically seeks to get you to only normal psysiological levels -- but I havent read any study's one way or the other

Elaborate please

If one does a cycle with a high dose of Test or say Tren ( which is 3 times as androgenic as T)

when they stopped that cycle, even if they went on Test as HRT they would still perceive a crash, or what could be seen as "tolerance"

but really it just a temporary perception versus a permanent roadblock at the cellular level

Nice post Omega. :)

Take a nice cycle of winny before going back on hrt doses.

if tat has asks the question, i know i am not qualified to provide any sort of useful answer :)

for what it is worth, for no scientific reason i can point to, i switch-up the tests (cyp/enth/sust/prop) between hrt and cycles.

High dose cycles and the perception of "effect' therein is different from HRT.

It is possible to need a higher dosage if what is being secreted normally lowers further -- something that a lot of people fail to realize. And of course, there is the psychological aspect Omega reffered to with HRT. At first, it seems like such a boost, then you get used to it and may think;'Hmm, I don't feel the same kick.'

One more thing to consider -- Free T levels drop as a man ages so that too is a factor. That can be treated naturally with supps and such, or as is the case with those more lazy, they'll just "up" the dosage of T. But once overall T gets close to 1000ngs, the sides effects increase tremendously. As long as it stays around 900, there are mostly only benefits. So the key is to keep FREE T as high as possible while keeping total T under 1000.

I think it is perceived. But I do think what people are perceiving as downregulation is their lack of similar gains at the same dose. So they up the dose or length to try to stimulate more gains.

I agree

I use deca alot not for gains, but at a very low dose to get rid of joint pain. And I've noticed now when I do this I have to use a little more

maybe your joint injuries are getting worse? i've been warned by vets i know that deca is a good steroid but a dangerous one because you think everythings good until you stop and then the pain comes. sticking with other anabolics, dbol/test/tren you feel what your doing to your body where when on deca the pain and injuries get masked and then when you stop you realize what you've done. i've only ran npp myself. i do notice joint relief at 200mg and i notice when i stop the same ol elbow pains and wrist pains are there. i think i'm gonna stop toying with that and stick to test/tren/masteron/proviron

test prop at 900mg ew is a good thing, so is 700mg of tren ace ew. amazing shit happens. never seen much of shit from nandralone itself. and i read alot of other people report this also.
