depression/LUVOX/liver enzymes

Just lookin out for my bro's:

got some blood work and my liver enzymes were HIGH, I was au natural at the time so i was a bit perplexed!

LUVOX aka fluvoxamine will elevate ones liver enzymes, so be aware!

dosage at time was 200mgs, ill get back to you with test results at 100 mgs, and see if there still elavated.

Most drugs will affect the liver especially depression meds etc. Most Docs I know will request blood work prior to prescribing to make sure liver is in good health.

ALT (SGPT) 76 NORMAL 1-55U/L

albumin/globulin ratio 2.1 norm is .8-2.0

AST 62 norm is 2-50
