after talkimg to Hammer I realized I need more time in between my sets on 5x5, I guess 45 sec is too short sometimes.

Military seated press. 5x5 with 180, up 5lbs

Pushpress 3x8 with 190, up 10lbs

Close-grip bench 3x8 with 225 up 10lbs

Face-pulls 100 3x10 up 5lbs

Dips 2x18 with BW up 3 reps each set

Upright rows 25/side of ez curl bar 3x10

Skullcrushers 3x10 with 25/side up 5lbs total

Good day, Blowing through the weight, not up to max weights yet but each week I put more weight on the bar with ease.

question...what happens when you hit your max weight with that 5x5?

do you switch the routine or what?
 
That's awesome weight on the military press. Not easy to do that for 5 sets. Good job.
 
t3c- by bringin up my accessory lifts I should be able to blow right through it for a few weeks. Bench incline was 265 last about 2 years ago. started incline at 185 and got up to 275, when I reached 265 it felt so light I was laughing the whole time ;)

Thanks Slobber- I just need to put some more speed off my clavicle but the strength is there:)
 
bro you bring military down all the way? Btw im doing what you suggested and working up, its very easy to make light weight feel hard with exceptionally strict form and slower rep speed, so Im gona see what happens in few weeks

Interesting. So you dropped the weights WAAAAYY down then just took your time building them back up?

Damn, 180 for 5X5 is pretty damn good considering it isn't even to failure.

Very nice man. BTW, did you use backsupport on it?

Tsk, tsk.. did you lower down to your chin? I always do them all the way down - I thought that was how they were done :)

Revex- I always touch to clavicles now, actually my top chest as I can barely feel any clavicle ;)

Hammer-Humbled is how I felt doing box squats for the first time with ya

Tiervexx- yep drop primary excercises way down and work on accessories real hard and slowly come back up

Sk*- I had back support cause I am trying to strengthen delts solely, to get more core work I do push press right after.

Yes Mike I did. (puts head down)...................................
I always went down to the chin. I learned from Lord Suston however. I than took the weights all the way down along with my ego. The #'s climbed up fast
