spent 12 hours in dfw when my flight was diverted and I missed my connection

I tried to check my baggage in ATL last week 43 minutes before the flight, when apparently the cut off is 45 minutes. NO dice. Couldn't get a flight into LGA, JFK, Newark, even White Plains for the next 24 hours. Ended up taking a fucking 10pm into Hartford and then making the 1 1/2 hour trek to Stamford from there.

I love flying.

wasn't able to leave until 11 am the next day
spent 12 hours in dfw airport

I was at ATL 4 6 hrs yesterday evening...when I missed a conection but got out on standby.....on the last plane to Tally last night...lots of stranded peeps that were headed to the North East @ ATL
