Deep Tissue Massage.......OMFG

I paid 50 today and the normal rate is 65.....but all I could think was I can't believe I am paying for this....lol...I have ice on my leg right now.....Im hoping the end result of having it done for a few weeks is less pain when I run lol

I have never had deep tissue and from the sounds of what you are saying I probably never will try it! Lol
Hopefully it will help get your legs ready for the run.Does any other runner you know do this? Ask around if see if it helped them.
 
Calves, lats, and I.T. band are the worst for me when I get deep tissue. I have a girl I go to once a month for one, and she wrecks me. I'll be peeing clear when I go in, when I leave, it looks like hung over vitamin pee. Too much info? I think not.

Yep it is a fricken killer.....I was almost in tears when she asked..."Is this to much pressure" lol

I am always amazed at the fact they can keep it up for an hour and then just move on to someone else

i cried...and bruised up. he was my PT and did a myofacia-tissue release, once a week...it was totally brutal. it works out the thin lining that lays over injured muscles or muslces that have been worked out for many years...i was a mess. :worried:
 
I will ONLY do DT massage........OMG, I had this little asian girl in Sf who would stomp all up and down my back with her feet.....hell she's massage my legs and butt too with her feet. SHe was awesome.......and the last 15 minutes of the massage were very relaxing :) ......yes I miss that place...... :)

I have a friend that does that for a living. she offered me one in exchange for fixing her computer. I said maybe some other time. :)

she's kinda hot and i didn't want to sprout wood in front of her, then she mentioned something about strategically placed elbows taking care of that. ouchie!
 
If you could get wood while they worked on a sore tendon.....you my man would deserve an award .......LOL
