Deconditioning?

Didn't know where to post, so I'll try here too.....

I am starting my first cycle since HRT next Monday (4 years)....I know it's not a good idea, but at age 30 Ii want to compete in 2 years.....I'm t6'2, 170 now....prob. 10%%

My question is this, I am def. taking the weekend off instead of the tnrie week (would go nuts), should I almost decondtion, relax my joints, etc for the pounding no holds barred next week? Meaning instead of heacy 6-8 range (today for deads is usually 5 of 5) should I move everything to thr 10-12-15 range.........would this help? Make sense? Still build mass>? I always incorpate that range in all my training days, but this is for evey exercise

BTW bro you are kinda small. obviously all the 6-8's arent working. then again the reason i hate the sport (bodybuilding and fitness world) is cuz everyone is a know it all and no one has done a thing.

and it shows

Been doing fine for the past 10 years with low reps. No lifting injuries yet. Its helped me get up to 5'9 at 210, but obviously i'm a retard.

come on viper just give up one of your sources, i know you have one just kidding haha

i will give you this 5'9" is a perfect frame for long term bodybuilding. us tall guys joints go if we go too heavy too often. my buddy is 5'9" used to strong as an ox benched like 525 au natural.. but now he can barely handle 315 after years of working out, he is 36......just like me. and i am the using 315 for reps now just like he was then. cuz i never went heavy. we both have been lfting since where 12 off and on of course..............24yrs

anway low reps=short term goals consisting of peaks and plateaus. U will get strong but the stregnth is fake, only there cuz u handle the weight on the regular. I peak thru diet and supp's. I never plateau

BTW my pic in my profile is a au natural before pic

As with diet, cardio or mass I think you benefit most from keeping the body guessing. Switch up rep goal every couple/few weeks will do just that and the lighter weeks will allow your tendons/ligaments time to recover from the heaveir weeks.

P.S I moved this thread to the training forum.
