I posted a wile ago about doing roids, people in the forum told me not too since i didn't have a good diet in effect. I said i was going to anyways, but decided against it, first because there too expensive from one source i found. another is wile actually getting a semi decent diet down i have put on 15lbs of lean muscle with protein shakes alone. I was around 180-182, i have now gotten around the 190-195 area. I am currently taking 4 protein shakes a day with 4 scoops per shake @ 20grams per scoop.. so 80grams per shake. i also am taking no2 black a nitric oxide supplement and the question is i researched and found that unless your documenting each workout you won't see gains as fast because you forget to go heavier each time for maximum of 10-12 reps which is supposed to gain size? anyways i found some sheets at bodybuilding.com which gives me monday-tuesday-rest wed-thursday-restart on friday and gives me set workouts and spaces to document. My question is, is there another workout you guys can think of that would give size but also not so bulky. I want to still see my abs but also gain muscle and strength.

Holy crap thats alot of liquid protein. i guess if your seeing results its ok but man thats alot of protein. why not try the 5x5 program. getting the bulkd look is all diet. if so lift however you want and keep your diet clean. so keep an eye on your carb intake and play around with it.. personally id shift this to the diet board and try to cut them shakes down to 2 and eat more food..

The style of training that works best for you depends on your body type. Some respond best to high volume, some high weight, ect. The 5x5 and 3x5 are common blends of them and are easy to follow. Play around with them for a month or two at a time and record lifts, bodyweight, and take pics of youself and store them to compare later.
As for the diet, eat more real meats, not lunchmeat, take in plenty of complex carbs, dark greens (don't waste your time on stuff like iceberg lettuce), and do cardio. Fast walking for 30-45 mins will cause you to go into fat-oxidation, and you will be burning fat as the main fuel sorce. The diet forum has a huge amount of info too.

Sounds like something is working. It's a process bro. Seeing abs is largely going to depend on genetics too. Easier for some than for others. You may have to either gain slower, or give up on being shredded while gaining.

Eating more solid food is good, but if it's not always possible/practical due to your schedule, keep taking the shakes. Hell, I drink two to three shakes a day just to get in my 500-600 grams of protein a day, and I still eat plenty of solid food!!!

As for workout programs...what are you doing now?

"4 protein shakes a day with 4 scoops per shake @ 20grams per scoop.."
I would seriously hate to be your toilet. Try eating more chicken breast and tuna and less protein shakes!
