deca vs eq

This is a strange conversation; how can you compare apples and TV sets?

Deca is potent at the anabolic receptor. It has NO alpha conversion (meaning no androgenic sides due to DHT compounds, particularly hair loss or prostate problems). It has NO estrogen formation to speak of (no estrogen bloat, no anti-es, no estrogen gyno). It has TONS of progesterone formation (with progesterone bloat, and progesterone gyno, libido problems, and tremendous progesterone shutdown). Deca has some glucocorticoid actions leading to further growth, intramuscular fat retention, and some leaning properties (when the superimposed bloat is subtracted).

EQ is VERY potent at the anabolic receptor (in fact, totally equipotent to deca, both of which are a 1/3 as potent as tren, and about 3 times stronger than test). It DOES have some alpha conversion at higher doses, with DHT-like sides (hair loss, acne). It DOES have estrogen conversion, with the possibility of estrogen bloat, need for anti-es(especially with test), and estrogen gyno. It DOES NOT have progesterone formation, with no big shutdown, fewer libido issues, no progesterone bloat, and no progesterone gyno. EQ has fewer glucocorticoid properties, with less fat shifting than deca. EQ seems to increase blood volume, with apparent vascularity, quite a bit. This, plus some hypothetical hypothalamus or histaminic actions, also leads to increased hunger.

Deca and EQ are actually equal at the AR, anabolic receptor, in a test tube. But people forget that estrogen, glucocorticoids, and progesterone are all very, very anabolic. That's why they give cattle synovex (test and estrogen) not just test. Deca, in vivo, in a real bodybuilder, emerges as stronger because of its tremendous progesterone and glucocorticoid actions. However, the progesterone in particular, is what makes some unable to take deca. Then, eq's benefit is clear.

In short, if you want more gains, can take progesterone in your body, and don't mind having anti-progesterone's on hand, deca is a great choice. If you like lean, steady gains, can't take progesterone, don't mind estrogen, don't want to deal with anti-progesterones, and don't mind taking anti-es, as well as maybe wanting some more vascularity or hunger increase, then eq's a fine choice. They're nice together, too. It's not like they're matter and anti-matter and explode when combined :) It basically boils down to whether you can take progesterone or not. If you can, you will probably like deca's significant edge over eq in gains, at the same dose. If you can't take progesterone, get some eq, test, anti-es and lift. That's all there is to it.

I think that should just about sum things up.

Ya ... that was very nicely said bro! K to you.

I would take either of them over test, and would choose deca over EQ as I am moving towards shorter cycles like 4-6 wks, and can run it as NPP. It will pack more of a punch in a shorter time frame than Bold will do, even Bold acetate ... with less jabs which is nice. I believe that most of the people who run into prog problems with Deca are running it for long periods of time, at higher dosages, and in the absence of HCG.

Ok, you win. Game over.

eq yields more quality gains imo.

Not mg for mg. I think that you need to almost double the dose of Deca. Even after any water has left.
