Deca question.

A year ago I had a nice little accident involving a high speed flight through the air on a Snow Machine going 70 mph.

Long story short I strained my knee pretty bad, the ER put me in a leg immobilizing brace for 3 weeks until my knee specialist finally told me to get rid of the thing.

Turns out my knee was just strained, however my left quad lost 3 inches over the coarse of 2 months.

Right now I've been working out for almost a 6 months and I've yet to see any increase in my left quad. I don't know if the injury caused some receptors to shut down thus not allowing for growth.

My Doc say's keep working it will just take time.....Well I want to speed up the time.

I'm under the impression that deca is a good healing med that also will promote growth.

I agree with your impression of deca's healing properties. I had a SERIOUS bicep injury for over 6 weeks, it was NOT healing, even took 3 weeks off from the gym to give it rest. Then I got sick of waiting, and started my cycle of cyp/deca/dbol, and my arm was TOTALLY healed within 4 days... I was lifting again like normal. So in my experience, DECA does have muscular healing properties unmatched by other steroids I've tried.

That's interesting that you don't see "any" increase at all. That's usually an indication of some kind of nerve damage. But since the injury is in your knee which is lower than you quad this is highly unlikely. I agree with your doc. You have some atrophy going on and it will take time, but IT WILL COME BACK. I think it would be dangerous to rush it and you actually run the risk of injuring the atrophied tissue itself if you push it. Deca has absolutely no healing properties whatsoever in this context. I wouldn't go near any AS until your leg is back to where it needs to be. Good luck and just hang in there, you'll get back.
