DECA only, something everyone needs to learn..

I COMPETELY disagree.. I use a standard dose of 4-500 mg /week and adding deca greatly reduced my sex drive even with the test.

BUT I wasnt using Dostinex either.

Deca will hurt your sex drive.. if it wasnt for the test. I wouldnt have had any drive at all.

Deca and Proviron is not a "Deca only" cycle. I'm, not knocking Deca, but it's hard to say wehter you would've had the same outcome without running Proviron as well

proviron has 0 anabolic effect so it is a deca only.

it's like saying your doing a test prop cycle with novaldex, so it's not a test only cycle because your using novaldex

I was under the impression that Proviron assisted with progesterone maintenance thereby controlling prolactin levels. That is why Deca works so well when Proviron is added(50mg ED). Thought the Proviron aided with the Deca sides...could be wrong though. Test-monkey....I am a Proviron fan as it works wonders with my libido! Makes me shed like a rottweiler in the summer, hence my hesitance to use it.

proviron has no effect on progesterone. it is a mild anti-Estrogen, but not progesterone. maybe your thinking of winny.

I am also a huge fan of proviron, and it does work well with deca in the sense that it works wonders for your sex drive like you said, thats about the only aid it will do with deca.

How deca affects you depends on your body's chemistry. Like i said, the first time i ren it i got deca dick. Second time no deca dick and could go for hours. Go figure.

I've stated this over and over again, and been argued with. "Deca dick" is a psychosomatic side effect created by the internet. People who do not read message boards do not seem to have this problem. I've known many people offline who do deca only cycles who do not read message boards, who claim it increases their libido and they can fuck like rabbits on it.

I took a Deca only cycle as my first cycle and if anything I had an increased libido like you mentioned along with the basic minor acne-and sum increase in my temper.

What I want to know is if I had no problems with Deca my first time using it, does that give me a strong chance of having the same outcome the second time around or is their still a strong chance I can have some of these other affects?

I wouldnt say deca "will" hurt sex drive. I think the correct wording would be "can". For that its worth it increases mine.

The only serious side effect I've ever had with Deca is that it made my muscles bigger..... permanently. I had no problems with sex drive, my dick functioned almost perfectly both during and after the cycle. I'm not prone to gyno, and water retention was very mild... much less than with test or dbol. Dosage was 400mg/wk.

I was going to agree with BodyByFinaplix that "deca dick" is psychosomatic and applies only to people who spend too much time on the web, but after reading so many posts with people swearing they really really got it from Deca and the web had nothing to do with it, I think there might be some truth in it. I guess some people just happen to be too sensitive to progesterone, and that's why they cannot tolerate drugs that have progestagenic activity, like nandrolone. However I feel these people are only a small minority.

Some people claim the decanoate ester is too long (10 carbons), and therefore it takes too long for Deca to leave your body after the cycle. This is a reasonable and acceptable argument, but let me remind you that the undecylenate ester in EQ is actually longer by one carbon. However I don't see the same people complain about EQ.
