I've stated this over and over again, and been argued with. "Deca dick" is a psychosomatic side effect created by the internet. People who do not read message boards do not seem to have this problem. I've known many people offline who do deca only cycles who do not read message boards, who claim it increases their libido and they can fuck like rabbits on it.

BBF....usually agree with most of your posts...this is the exception. I joined EF because I had Deca dick. Ran it solo and never heard of Deca dick. I needed help immediately as this became an obsession in no time (along with the depression of being off). No where else to turn so I raised a question on this board and received tons of responses. Shortly thereafter visited my Doc....sure enough my Prolactin levels were through the roof, estrogen too high, and Test way low. For me, it was not a psychosomatic illness but was self-created since I was niave....didn't know the sides. I guess you're only a dumb ass if you make the same mistake twice. I have used Deca in the past but never without Test. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Was this mid cycle, or post cycle? When most guys say deca dick they are refering to while on cycle. Most cycle crashes are not uncommon on any drug that suppresses htpa levels, and nandrolone is known for having an above average effect on this...but in that case why not just call it "test dick" or "steroid dick"?

Had a slight problem mid-cycle but HCG solved it. Major problem occurred post cycle, week 2 of PCT....did have Deca dick but the whole experience was more like post cycle hormone crash! The only other gear that I have run solo prior to this was Test (Sust, cyp, and suspension)....never had that problem. You do raise a good point...perhaps it should be called "steriod dick"...just never had that problem with any other gear. Perhaps simply don't have enough experience. Time will solve that one!

other things to consider with deca, for all those who say test is a must with deca, don't forget good old proviron which is an androgen, and will do every thing test will do besides being anabolic. and will have less sides then test at resonable doses. personaly proviron give's me better sex drive then straight test. proviron is bad on the hair if your prone, but not as bad as test, if you stay low like at least at 25mg- 50mg ed

test is great with deca and for some it's a must and other it's their nightmare. some people hate test because they don't react good to it, and get bad sides like acne. that is why they turn to anabolics like deca and EQ.

help4jhon you say your prolactin levels were really high, and your estrogen were really high post deca. Your problem could've been resolved with dostinex or bromo for prolactin, and well I don't know about your PCT, but if you used an anti-e like noval your estrogen would be resovled also.


so this is what I believe is a must with deca-

proviron (unless using test)
bromo or dostinex
HCG (during cycle not post)
then a good PCT

don't forget how safe deca is and how anabolic it is. you don't have to worry about HDL levels as with other anabolics. compared to all other steroids it's the least harshest on the hairline. it doesn't convert to DHT. and has the lowest androgen sides like acne.

as long as you got dostinex, proviron, hcg, and good pct your golden I think more people who don't like high androgen drugs should give it a try alone.

deca dick is real to a certain point. most of the time it happens post cycle, which it's just a crash, no matter what you were using like bbf said.
I had what you would call deca dick post cycle from a post test-var cycle, because pct wasn't planned well enough. loss of sex drive during or post cycle can and has happend with any drugs, even test!

also your 100% right some people respond bad to Nandrolone, just like others can respond bad to D-ball, and others.
