How much food were you eating? Were you eating enough protein and carbs? Remember, a plant can get all the sunlight in the world but it's not to get bigger without enough food and water. Everyone is different but you should have at least one to 2 g of protein per pound of muscle on your body. The harder you train the higher the ratio you should use. If you are taking steroids, remember, your body is utilizing protein at a much faster rate and a much more efficient manner, you may need even more than 2 g per pound. This goes for your carbohydrates as well. Eat more when you know you are going to do more eat less when you know you're going to do less. Obviously, however you eat you must eat more when you are on the goods, ;-)
