It's all I did for months. Primary reason was to work on that all-important form; however, after those months of hard work, I saw what it did to my back. After a few months of just deadlifting, I began to incorporate all the assistant exercises such as good mornings.
Result? Not only a thicker, more developed back, but stronger more functional.
at first its #%#$%^$# great to do only deads yay numo uno 1
ok
but
later
u should do rows and T-bar and GM's everything works but nothing works forever..ok deads do, but you should try these after deads or at least one of them
Deadlifts and barbell rows seem to have added major thickness to my back Can definately see it in the double biceps pose from the rear Compared pics after about 5 months..... Atleast it seems so Cuz deads have been the meat of my back routine. Hope that helps
My back has never looked better since I've added deads to my routine. I think mixing it up with a variety of rows, etc would help to develop a more balanced back.
On a side note...I had a fight with my DL the other night...and I got my ass kicked! I think I tried to move up my weights too fast, hoping to conserve my strength for a heavier lift...got stuck 3-4 times! AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhh!
