Deadlifts with back or hamies?

Benzi

New member
I get way to tired doing deadlifts after weighted pullups to complete my back programe. I also get way to tired doing deadlifts bfore or after my squats in my legs program. Where the hell should i include deadlifts. I'm thinking about taking my rest day and turning it into a deadlift, forearm, abe, calve, and light cardio day. Will it be too much with no complete rest days?

I do deadlifts on leg day, but I alternate with squats--deads one week, squats the next. Works for me, YMMV.

YOu need a rest day to make any significant gains. I train each body part one day a week.

benzi, check this out, bro. some will agree that hitting all leg muscles (quads, hams, calves) is just too much to get the full potential of a workout. so on leg day i'll usually hit just quads/calves (or even just quads and mix it w/ something else like abs or cardio, etc.). another area that is difficult to give alot of attention to is lower back. i'll usually take at least 1 day/week and dedicate about 1 1/2 hours to hams, lower back abs and obliques. deadlifts are perfect for those days. give it a try.

I would definitely suggest doing them on back day bro... they really activate your rhomboids and traps and your lats.. just my $02.
:D:D

Do regular deads on back day and straight legged on leg day. Yes, both. If you find it hard, do them first.

tahtnks for the advice guys
so you all believe that deadlifts should be the primary excercise done on back day? What about pull downs?

as to BK, isn't doinf deadlifts twice a week a bit much? You're not giving yourself enough time to rest.
