you should never feel weak if you improve little by little. Comparing to other people is good for motivation, but don't get down on yourself. progress is progress.
 
I talked to a group of world record and American record holding squatters and deadlifters this weekend, and asked them about this. They just looked at eachther and shook their heads like this was a new one. "Biceps? When we DEADLIFT?" They had no idea what I was talking about. Glad it's not just me.
