Deadlift question, again

Lee

Ok, when doing multiple reps of standard deadlift, how do u let it down to the ground? Do you just drop it down with yer back or legs or legs and back?

I go down to the ground... with higher weights, I take a pause... if I'm doing 225lbs say, I touch the ground, and then go up...

with like 375... I stop for a few seconds, and then re-lift.

k, but is there a specific way i need to let the weight down after lifting it up, or do i just let it down anyway then relift?

Well, my deadlifts start at the floor (ahem) so I lift it, lower it with as little control as possible, rock back on my heels to reset, and pull again.

...or perhaps you meant ROMANIAN deadlifts. ;)

yea i know deadlifts start on the floor. maybe im not explaining this good enough. nm, ill ask someone in real life.

I lower the bar slow and in control, same as I raise it

Yeah... I raise slow, lower slow... but with higher weights I pause at the starting position on the ground... for a few seconds.
