Hello All,
Last night I set a pb on deads of 385, Not a huge number, I know , but a PB none the less. Kind of felt a strain in my right pec on the last pull , not really the place I thought I would feel a stain. Any way here is hoe the sets went..

135x12 warms
225x 8
295x 3
315 x 1
365x 1
385 x 1 New PB
295 x5
225x10

Ive been doing these for a month or so and really like them. I am no expert on form but from what I have read. Keep back arched head up and pull from the legs.My partner scare the hell out of me when he is deadlifting. He pulls with his legs until they are extended then straightens out his back. I mean his back is 90 degrees to the floor before he straightens up, and rounded as hell. Its a very heavy goodmorning. Breakfast is calling
Peace :fro:

good job man. i myself haven't been deadlifting very long but i love the soreness that i feel after having done 'em. i believe no lifter can do without deads.

Last Friday I finally got 405 for 3, they are the best, but my god you have to have good form. Tell your friend to get back to light weights and get his form down.

Congradulations on the Personal Best!!! Progresss is sweeet! And, the weight you lifted is nothing to be ashamed of. Don't be so negative! You rock and you should admit it...

NIce work. Don't worry so much about how much weight you are doing look more to how much you are improving and growing stronger. Strain in you chest isn't too unusual as you chest helps stabilize your body when the weight is pulling on you. Almost every muscle in your body is involved in deads except for you tris. THe rest either are lifting or stabilizing. Keep up the good work and grow.

Cheers,
