09/15 Week 4 Day 1 DE Upper

Speed Bench: 100x10x2 with mini bands double choked
Set 1, 2, 9, 10

Speed Seated OHP: 65x6x3 with mini bands triple looped on the bar
Set 3, 6

Seated overhead rack lockouts (~6" ROM): 185x2x3
Tate Presses to the front: 25'sx3x10
Front Plate raises: 45x3x10

That was it. I messed up on bench and OHP. I was supposed to do sets of 3 on bench and sets of 2 on OHP. Somehow I got them mixed up in my mind.

puttinbuttin was sick, so she didn't work out with me. It's definitely a lot more fun when she's there. I didn't do any ab or grip work because I was trying to hurry up to get back home to her.
 
lol.......... at the mix up. but stranger things have happened.

im sorry pb was sick........ tell her to quit faking. her and trinity both.

good work on the rack lockouts. i told you, that you would be a lot stronger there. my suggestion. next week do 4 inch rom, and then next week do 2 inch rom to put up some serious weight.

how did you do the lockout. up against a bar? a bench? or with no back support???

Actually, with our horrible powerrack, I'm only going to be able to do them at around 6" or more.

I did them seated on a bench with no back support. Got a lot of strange looks doing them too.

i was thinking that was the case!!!! i knew you could do a lot more on those ohp lockouts. when i told you yesterday i used to bench 295 and rack lockout 315-365 for sets of 3 i had a back support ( a 45lb bar) but when i tried it without a back support....... this was before my ohp for strongman) i could do 225 for 3 and 275 for 1 with only 4 inch rom.

without a back support is hard, i was thinking if you only did 185 you did them without a back support. dang good work bud!!!

and you can work around the powerrack. sit on your box and do the ohp lockouts. then you will have more adjustability with the powerrack.

I did 135 for a set and it was easy, so I tried 225 and it didn't move.

That's when I dropped the weight to 185 and did 2x3 with it.

And that's a great idea about using the box. Why didn't I think of that? LOL

Just watched my bench video again.

LOL. I just realized that I forgot to mention something earlier in the post.

In the bench video, you can see guys in the background doing what they do best at my gym - standing around talking to each other.

That's what they do about 90% of they time that they are in the gym.
