DE Upper... Weak

Zander1983

Speed Bench
165 x 3 x 6 sets

Push Press
165 x 2 x 7 sets

Wide-grip Pullups
BW x 5 x 2 sets

Barbell Rows
176 x 8 x 2 sets

That took a whole hour. I had a lot more planned, I couldn't get in a groove and felt so weak :(

When I look back, my diet and fluid intake has been really poor the last couple of days. Very inconsistent compared to normal. I haven't been sleeping as much either. I'm back at uni after mid-semester break and trying to spend as much time with my girlfriend as I can possibly manage. Taking its toll, I think. I've been having a lot more rest days than I'm used to.

I'm going to put in a big effort in the kitchen right now and try to get a hold of what at the moment is just a hiccup... Overtraining? Probably not. I just haven't been doing as much right as I usually do, over the past couple of days.

Aren't those speed benches a little too heavy? I thought they were supposed to be 45%

They're at ~55%.

When not using bands or chains, 50-60% is appropriate from what I understand.

Yeah, that would be a good workout for me :)

Everyone has bad days now and then.

this is true zander...everyone on here has had their fill of bad-training days...its all part of the game. good workout brotha!! tb

I forgot to add that the front of my right shoulder was quite sore when I was doing wide-grip pullups. I think it was the bicep tendon.

And thanks for the support guys.
