been doing some reading on the concept of dc training,am i missing something here.eg lets say its chest, shoulder, tricep day u pick 1 for chest excercise we shall pick incline dumbell press for example .you warm up then start with a respectible weight of ohhh say 100 lbs,ya do 7 reps(rets pause)next do 3 reps,(rest pause)then finally 2 reps rst.done then stretch that mucle realllll good.ok on to the next body part and so on.is that pretty much it.i exersise per body part?

yes, that's a piece of it. Intensemuscle.com has stickies at the top of the DoggPound forum (and Puppy Pound forum too). Read everything you can. Copy and paste stuff into a word doc if you need to (I did) do you can have it all in one place and read it again. Organize it so it makes sense and read it again.

I hope you are quite an advanced trainer if you're going to be starting DC training.

Agree 100% i tried it for a short while and it is intense!!! I don't train for size anymore otherwise i would be doing that but be mentally ready for it! It's going to kick your ass

I quickly over trained using DC training even while on the bean. Not going to work well for everyone. For me it was counter productive. Everyone is different though. Just my .02.

DC is meant for very advanced lifters! If you do not have a good couple years in the trenches under your belt then don't even try it. It is not only a way to train. True DC is a lifestyle. He tells you how to eat, train, and do cardio... This is not for everyone! But because i say this i guarantee most will want to do it more now.

works very well, but is easy to overtrain. Listen to your body. DC recommends 4 weeks "on", then a two week "off" cruising. good idea

DC is very individual. Some guys can blast (be "on") for 8-10-12 weeks. I can never usually get past 6 weeks. A day off every 3 weeks or so can help to prolong a blast too.

If you do DC correctly...I think it's pretty much impossible to overtrain.

The problem is way too many people don't do DC properly. They mess with it and add in more volume (usually the biggest offender), or something else. They "change" DC too much and what they're doing can no longer be called "DC Training", but they call it that then tell everyone what's wrong with "DC Training".

If they showed exactly what their routine was to Dante himself, chances are he'd tell them it's not DC Training. It happens all the time.

YOU are obviously not ready for DC. lol

I've read up on it, and it makes no sense. I MUST be missing something because I don't see how 1 exercise per bodypart can be so intense.
