Dbol Vets, Is this really the Prefered Method for Most???

Hey bros, I'm a longtime dbol user who swears by my little buddies with the big punch. I've noticed alot of cycles and cycle critiques suggesting dbol durations of 4 weeks. Is this really everyones prefered method? I realize that just cuz some guy posts it doesn't mean that it represents majority trends, and even majority trends aren't necessarily correct, but I just keep seeing the 4 week dbol cycle usually stacked with a longer run of test. Some guy will post it, or even worse someone will ask for advice for a dbol and test stack and will be told run test for 10 weeks and run dbol weeks 1-4. Do you vets subscribe to this practice? I'm not trying to call anyone out, I'd just like to hear why? I know for myself when I cycle test and dbol I always run the dbol for atleast the first 6 weeks. My best gains come in the last three weeks when the test has really kicked in and the dbol is well, bieing its bad little self. I'd run the dbol 8 weeks if I think my body is doing alright, though after that I've found the dosage has to be too high to keep the results coming. Besides at that point I'm trying to solidify the gains. Stopping at 4 weeks though just seems crazy. You would be robbing yourself of the most productive period of the cycle, atleast from my experience. I'd like to hear the logic behind such a short duration, and please don't tell me its toxity concerns, because if you can't handle 6 weeks you shouldn't be on the d at all. I'm not trying to flame bros, but I would like to hear some reasons or from bros who cycle dbol like I do or any other variation. Again, I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just lost as to why the 4 weeker is popular with anyone. Hit me with your thought bros. Out.

It's the norm around here but I never liked the idea personally. I understand some people use it as some sort of front load to get gains going faster but they should do this with the their base steroid instead. D-bol promotes growth and anabolism through different pathways and receptors than some other steroids so you go on it then you're off of it. Doesn't make sense to me. I would rather someone run d-bol for 12 weeks at 15-20mg ed than 4-5 weeks at 30-40mg ed than go off. Just my 2 cents.

why stop after 4 weeks, its not like it stops working.......
And its not THAT liver toxic, so thats not a good excuse.

Has anyone tried high doses say 50 mg/day for 5 weeks and also tried lower dose say 25 mg/day for 10 weeks? What were the results. which did u like better. I dont understand how one is more liver toxic than the other. The liver filters thru the same amount its just less stress for longer or more stress for shorter. This a a rgeat question can anyone enlighten us.

BTW I usually run d-bol at 35-40 mg/day for 5 weeks and love the pump i get in the gym and would love to extend this the whole cycle.

Akathegame,

I agree with you from personal experience, I did alot of research on this board and your right it seems like alot of people recommend doing dbol for the first 4 weeks. I did a light cycle of omna (250mg/week) and stacked it with 20mg of dbol/ed. this was my first cycle and was only going to do the dbol for 4 weeks. As I was going along, I was noticing weight gain in the first 2 weeks but not much in the way of strength, by week 3 my strength was starting to increase. It didn't make sense to me to stop the dbol at week 4 since I was just now starting to make decent strength gains. I continued until week 6 and ran out of dbol, I believe I would have continued to make progress for a couple more weeks. I'm glad I continued after the 4th week.
just my 2 cents.

Its like Mike said, the 4 week dbol cycle is a front load for test. Of course I'd rather frontload the test and run the dbol straight thru.

For people who are conservative with 17aa's I think it does make sense.

TPH,

I understand the theory of front loading, but I just don't see the actual benefits in terms of gains. When you run the dbol longer, you are still technically front loading, but you just don't stop. Hepotoxity is really not the problem alot of people tend to make it out to be unless they have preexisting system weakness. Follow your liver enzymes for a 6 week duration(*even 8-10 should be fine) of dbol at 25-30 mg with test at say 500mg. If you drink your gallon or 2 of water amnd get 600mg of ALA along with some liver support. I bet you don't see anythin drastic even at week 10. 17aa are toxic, but unless you're cycling for months, not weeks, and at high volumes, you'll be straight. The issue then becomes gains and the proof is in the pudding, 6-10 weeks for some serious bulk and tsrength. Out.

I am most guys i know feel that dbol should be taken for 6 weeks, I usually run dbol at 30mg/day for 6 weeks with fantastic results stacked with test, and a predominitly Anabolic such as Primobolan or EQ all the same dosages throughout the 6 weeks

Im running it at 20mg ed. I take 1 in the morning, one at lunch and 2 before I workout. Im not sure if this is the optimal way but thats how I do it.
