Dbol - do you keep anything?

It is my understanding that Dbol basically blows you up like a balloon and then once you stop you lose 90% - even with a test base. Am I mistaken?
 
Yes, you can have a lot of bloat. But it can also be managed with an anti-estrogen. Some might also add some proviron. When managed, gains can still be very impressive. IMO, the only thing that would ever justify the claims that Dbol gains are less permanent is that people are usually running Dbol for a short period. This makes it more difficult to keep gains. If guys were running 4-6 week testosterone cycles, board mythology would state that test gains are also temporary and all bloat.
 
"Back in the day" lots of guys used just d-bol and made great gains. You just can;t depend on it to gain 20 pounds in 8 weeks. Yes, you gain water, but you gain water on test too. And part of that "bloat" is blood volume which is part of what gives the great pumps and the increased growth -- as long as you train hard enough.

I would NOT do Dbol without using N2GUARD and formastanozol along with it and follow with PF POST_CYCLE. That's a must. Then go on NTBM BRIDGE , which will keep that blood volume up so you keep the gains. Enjoy.
 
anytime you gain fast its gonna be tough to keep those gains UNLESS for example you never worked out in your life and went from benching 80 pounds (yes i have bicyclist friends who can only do that much) and then you get up to 150.. and then decide to keep working out ..

BUT had you just trained natty you would of easily got to 150 anyway without the steroids. hope that makes sense

also for example i can take any skinny dude and put his scrawny ass on deca/dbol/test without an AI and tell him to eat a zillion calories a day and he would blow up... are those gains good gains though? the answer is no. they are fast gains and once the bloat subsides that dude is gonna have a helluva time dealing with the pressure on his tendons and ligaments .. you hear a lot of stories of newbs who have soft tissue problems, that is exactly why.
 
My take on Dbol is that the water you hold makes you stronger, when the water leaves you get weaker so that portion of the gain that comes from water weight is never going to be something you can keep long term, however it's definately possible to keep gains from dbol just not all of them, I've done dbol a few times, probably won't again... Why concern yourself with having to manage estrogen issues when you could just take something that doesn't cause that problem instead...

MOST people when they come off a cycle get lazy with training,,nutrition and then blame a loss of gains on the AAS.
You do bloat and retain water with DBOL,,which some you will shed,,,but there is no reason you should EVER lose
90% of your gains from anything in my opinion.

If one ran just an old fashion taper style 8 week dbol cycle and ate clean and busted their ass in the gym you should come away with a few lean pounds. Thats not too shabby IMHO. Have never done it But Radar has many many times.
