I just got a set of ported #64 heads for the 455 in my Firebird. I have a tri-power on it and don't know if the 10:1 heads will detonate and cause damage. How big a cam do you think I can go on this? I'm thinking Comp 292 with [email protected]" in/ex.Oh yeah- do you know Jeff Bowman from raacing in Atlanta? He runs supergas.

I am not familiar with all of the dynamics of that motor.. but a 292 gring HYD cam should be fine. that particular grind is a pretty nice street/strip cam.

I do not know Jeff Bowman.. well I might if I saw him.. I do not know the name.
