Day after LEG workout.

UFFF.. girls!!!
As I posted yesterday my leg workout was great!!.
But this morning 5:00am I was not able to move. My legs were killing me. I decided to skip Gym today because I was very sore. I yhink my body would apreciate the rest. Therefore I slept an extra 2 hours.
I was in such pain(Good felling:D ) that my legs were killing me when I try to sit down in the toilet..auchhhh auchh
I decited to take a very hot bath with Epson Salt to relax my muscles.
AHHH also I workout my abs on wed. and even last night I was sneezing and had to hold my abs because it would hurt.

JUst to let u know...I think this is good!! that is why I am shariing my experience with u all.

Ohh forgot to mention, that tonite I am going with in-laws to Italian restaurant....and I have to eat pasta and some fried calamar...and tiramisu for dessert
I am starting to not like those days when I have to eat not so clean(to put it that way), but I will make this my cheat meal.
Tomorrow back to clean food and low carb.
I have notice that when I have a cheat meal it takes some days for my body to re-adjust.

You know, maybe it's just me, but I SWEAR by glutamine. I used to get SO sore, and it would take a week to recover from legs. Then I started taking glutamine regularly, and I don't get AS sore, and it doesn't last long at all. I ran out last Thusday, and didn't have any in me for my leg day on Monday....WOW, what a difference! I'm SO SORE, and it hasn't let up. Got more glut yesterday - will be better soon!

Rest is good...your body is growing some muscles RIGHT NOW. Let it do its job.

try about 10 minutes of wakling afetr doing legs, do the treadmil 3.5-4.0 mph, ive noticed it helps with the soreness a little.

You can find it in the performance supplements section of the store - l-glutamine. Good stuff. Many protein mixes also mix it in.

Sometimes when you are really sore, the best thing you can do is get back in the gym & do some cardio to work it out. Doesn't have to be intense. I have a desk job -- usualy the day AFTER the day after legs is the worst. I'll sit down for a few minutes & my muscles lock up - so the next time I got to stand up, I end up limping for a few steps because I'm so stiff from sitting! Its an evil circle but unless you're just really wiped out from training, i feel so much better if I keep moving!
 
I get this feeling almost on a weekly basis....always on a heavy leg day week...usually the 2nd day after is killer!! Always a good sign:)

you could probably take much more than that, i usually take 15-20gms a day, including after workout and before bed. theres no bloat from glutamine like creatine.
 
Today was back and bis day. My hands are bruised....they were really bothering me this morning....I used gloves.
I only did 2 sets of chin-up?, 3 set-arm row machine. 3 sets woth barbell(bis), 3 sets with db(bis)( because I could not hold on with my hands any longer.....
very upset that could not optimized my workout :mad:
 
ohh..I have them...
I practice Tae-Kwon-do and have few of them...
I thoght about them this morning, but was not sure.
