I don't dig magic at all, but what I do dig on are people who are excellent or masters at their craft... I didn't really appreciate what being a magician entailed until I saw two movies, the prestige and the illusionist. Can you imagine how seductive you gotta be to win people over. Moreover, I saw an awesome TV special covering what motivated him to pursue magic, he was super close to his mother and she was dying of cancer, and one of the main reasons why he is so passionate about it is because of her. It was pretty moving, Moreover, with living in this age of magic where you push a button and poof its there, our own sense of wonder is completely gone, and so I kinda admire Blaine and Criss... even though i don't follow them for attempting to bring this sense of wonder back through their craft. I didn't have this respect for magicians until I saw those two movies and I realized to be successful in that craft entails more self sacrifice than I can even fathom.
