oh my god that is my nightmare

that last pic gave me the chills

it was a very casual accident we were going 30ish and being cautious...we lost control long before we were over the edge so we knew it was coming.
i kinda panicked and immediatly when the car stopped got the fuk out...sitting passenger proly not a good idea wouldn't have taken much to roll it

WRX FTW!

10 of the Best Cars For Snow | Autobytel.com

That the 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi does exceptionally well when the white stuff falls shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, as this vehicle draws its heritage from decades of winter rally competition.

if you read my post in your car thread i mentioned this was coming up.
i travel 30 miles of this twisty river road plus another 30 crossing a mtn pass.
so yea pretty much mandatory...though my fwd studded focus has been killing it

car was pretty g2g as well

No dents, no alignment problems?

I just made a U turn last weekend in the dark where the field on the side of the road looked pretty flat. But of course I turned in the one spot where there was a culvert drainage. Right front tire went right into the hole and the left rear came off the ground. Brand new Ford explorer still has the temp plate on it. :(

Luckily, a very nice guy came along with a tow strap and pulled me right out before I had to deal with any coppers.

The right front quarter panel popped out very slighty. The seam where it meets the front door is raised like an eighth inch. Other than that, no damage.

It's a Ford Explorer

no loss :whatever:

1) glad you're ok bino, good broly
2) +1 for poasting your shame
3) I'm curious, it looks like you fanned out well before the turn. YOu wouldn't have trying the pendulum maneuver now would you have? lmfao!! :lmao:

Those pictures are horrifying especially with the water at the bottom. A seat belt could have done you in there. How long were you out of control of the car?

I drive with my eye out for those things all the time...I will avoid roads like if I can.

I'm glad you're okay and your car is in decent shape it seems.

LOL I actually think its a nice car.

I had a 2009 Explorer and there are some things I liked about the the older body style. The new ones are too big IMO.
But this new one is the first car I've had with Satellite radio, back up camera, bluetooth phone connection and that other modern electronic stuff. Which is cool. I don't know how I lived without sattelite radio!

It's nice to drive. Just drove 30 miles through a snow storm to get to work this morning and the full time AWD works really well too. It's hard to do donuts in an icey parking lot even when I'm trying to.

LOL! I think there should be a rule where you don't make fun of someone's vehicle while they still have temp tags. What does everyone think? :verygood: lolo

Where i'm from if it aint 4door 4wd or running 170mph its a joke.Of course old ngrs like headholio need to be driving shit like Explorers, that's a nice ride for trained ass ngr.

I'm putting a petition together to ban 2wd vehicles in TX.

I feel they promote being a pussy, which can get you killed in certain situations, so in my opinion 2wd's are responsible for deaths and.should be banned

I would like to be the first to sign this petition on behalf of men with balls all over this country.

I second the motion

Ha I don't give a shit what people think about my car, my house, or anything else for that matter. I'm not like some people around here who need to bolster their egos with material shit. But thanks for the support :)

If you look real close you can see the cum stains on the dash from where you were beating off to Timothy McGraw.

:FRlol:
How do you know Tim McGraw's penis wasn't rideing around with me drinking cold beer?

I'm not plat, and I don't talk to dicks anyway.

Bwaaaaaahhhaaaaaa!!

Too busy suxing them for a creamy treat to have a converstaion huh?

wide tires are terrible for snow. a stock truck would shit all over that truck all day long.

That's why Jeeps come stock w/those lil ass skinny tires. They look ugly like that, but are far more functional.

Tires like on SB's truck are good for mud (that's why they have the big lugs in the tread)

fyi-tires like that are fuckin terrible in snow. That truck ain't doing shit in a blizzard...

I bet I be pimpin with the heater on in that bish

I figured smaller tires on a jeep had more to do with torque. As far as snow traction, I would think its more about contact patch size. Skinny tires and wide tires can have similar contact patch sizes, but the skinny tire has a long narrow patch and the wide tire has short wide patch. I don't know how that might matter. When you get into deep snow, i would think that more tire is better for simple surface area reasons.

I just put 37's on my F-150 bish bes ballin and loud as fuck thou. I'll take some pics of it this afternoon

This bish be dashing through the snow like a one horse open sleigh and shit hommie

Yeah I could see where smaller tires with higher tire pressure would have more force per square inch against the snow maybe.

See that shit on the side of my Ford pickup, that's called mud. Picked that shit up while I was attending a MLK rally down on the river swamp.

Wow - just seeing these pics for the first time. I soiled myself just looking at them. Bino did a pretty good job hiding the fact his shorts were full of poop (nef approved word).

samoth will be along shortly to explain the physics behind it.

db you got a red x bro
sb i like that second truck pic, though i'd take those running boards off.
mtn road driving (real mtns not dixie hills) a jacked truck is a bad look.
awd car w/studs is the best bet not.
ceo my co-worker/commuter was driving, and btw sion's are hot lil cars real nice ride
