regardless of the fact that there are some decent muslims out there. The USA will pin this on someone over there and then all hell will break loose if anyone tries to oppose them going in there and getting that person. The general outcry from the american populous is for blood and revenge. I am sorry but you cannot have an event so catastrophic to a nation and not expect to have its people lash out in anger. I think someone should be punished to the extreme measures of the law for this attrocity, but I also am one of those of the mind set that the palestinians dancing in the streets did nothing to quench the fires of hate that are now so brightly burning in most american's hearts.
I also wonder if you won't see american groups take matters into their own hands. There are enough gun toting militants in this country to create the largest terrorist regime the world has ever seen, and after this catastrophy I doubt they would have a hard time finding private investors to fund them. Maybe the development of a sort of vigilante (spelling errors aplenty I am sure) group of Americans is not too unrealistic and idea. I don't know I am merely throwing the idea out there.
I cannot cast stones because I too feel the need to see blood. I realize that is not christian and may not even be humane but that's how it is. I hope that there is a an expedient solution to this promblem and I hope that those responsible for this act are crucifide.
I wouldn't be opposed to showing the world the might of the US army by seeing a full deployment in a real wartime situation. I think everyone undersestimates the power of our armed forces because they have been under some sort of restrictions in every skirmish we have been in since WWII. Should we actually declare war on someone say Afganistan I think the world might shudder at the weapons of destruction that our country would unleash.
One more thing. After the bombing I had an Afganistani in one of my classes and the little fucker said that the American people deserved what they got because they have been doing it for years. I am more than proud to say that the little bastard didn't make it out of the classroom before he was set upon by a young man whose father is one of the thousands missing from the WTC. I realize that an entire people should not be held accountable for the actions of a few but when the hate of so many middle eastern civilians is so evident how can we honestly call them innocents.
I think anyone dancing over the loss of thousands of lives is a sick sick person and they should be given a dose of plutonium to help recover from their illness.
