What the hell is this shit! It has been dumping here for 3 days, the leaves aren't even off the trees yet!

Where you at? Northern Michigan and the UP are getting hammered in many conditions with blizzard type weather. I LOVE IT! I just wish I didn't sell my snowmobile.

It is snowing? Damn.

**Looks out window and see bright beautiful sky**

**checks weather bug**

"Currently: 81° F "

I am in Colorado. It has been snowing for 3 fucking days straight!
The U.P is getting hammered? Man, i am going deer hunting there in 2 weeks. Looks like i am going to freeze my balls off.

The surgery is healing. Been a week and a half and i can walk around now, no major pain anymore, still limping though. Best part is, my sciatic nerve pain is not gone. Definitely less, but i was hoping it would be gone. I hope as i heal it fades away.

Some spots are getting dustings......others reporting 7-8"...all depends on the Lake Effect...

Where you going in the UP?

Check out www.johndee.com for weather up there...guy is good. Ckeck out the N.C.N. link there (Cameras showing the conditions up there).

I guess we are going to Chippewa county, the closest real town is Pickford. Based on John Dee, looks like it is snowing up there.

MP5 finds a new hunting buddy...

Well dunno whats happeneing lately. I remember 15 years ago, snow would start in early november and non-stop till early april. We always had around 1 foot or more on the ground. Now last year nothing till january. I was even doing a BBQ party in february, some unthinkable few years ago....

I've pretty much skiied all the good ones in Canada.

Here's my list for US:

1. Lake Louise
2. Killington(Been there. Want to go again)
3. Whiteface: (Sucks. Icy as hell)
4. Smugglers Snotch
5. Jay Peak

Where else?

The more powder the better. Oh, and Heli-skiing needs to be available. I can't believe some states made it illegal....

My mistake then.

I always thought it was in the US part of theRockies and Banff was in the Canadian part.

Smugglers Snotch??? Sounds dirty.

LMFAO....typo.

It should be Notch.

Whistler/Blackomb is still the best IMO.

Go down Whistler Bowl then go Bushwacking through the trees and then hit the everglades, then hit the moguls and
then if thats not enough the speed run.......LOL

1hr to get down.

Lake Louise is in Banff National Park I believe, in Alberta. It is easily one of the most beautiful spots on the planet and you're trying to give it to the damn Yankees! Bastard.

I miss the snow! But Tampa is having beautiful weather...finally! I'm guessing upper 70's, partly cloudy, and a beautiful breeze. Today is the first day in months that I have the windows open and it's not too warm.

I can't wait for February/March...I'll be in Boston and I'm hoping for a ton of snow this year. Every winter I like to go to a snowy place, I enjoy the Florida winters too much to move back up north, but a week in the snow is such a pleasure!

MP5, glad to hear you're mending well. The siatic pain should go away as you heal.

Whistler is unbelievable, went boarding there a few years ago. Powder up to my armpits, only thing that sucked was that layer of fog halfway down the mountain. We stayed on the top though, from the bowls down to the glades---snows up top, rains down the bottom.

The last day I was there I was chased by a guy from the SKi Patrol.....LOL

My brother and I waited for 2 weeks for them to open Soudain Couloir and nothing.

The alst day we got fed up, and wentunder the rope and down we went..... :)

Its steep but sucks pretty bad. Pure ice IMO.

The monitor at the top radioed his buddy down the slope and he chased us....LOL

No chance. He had the tobbogan with him.....slowed him down
considerably.

I normally stayed at the top. I love those "lips" that from the bowls.....LOL

30-foot hangers you can do wahtever acrobatic you want on because of the fresh powder snow. Yiu have to go at 9AM sharp though. Or else it gets all packed hard, and then its sheer pain for your joints and ass.

I really need to plan another trip up there soon. I mostly stayed on Whistler, went to Blackcomb for a few runs, the glacier is pretty cool. Long flight though from Philly to Vancouver, but the drive from Vancouver to Whistler is breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful.

March Break is the time to go.

Whistler village goes completely out of control then.

After weeks, I was dead. Every muscle and bone hurt from excessiving skiing and partying.

If you get tired of WV, just got to Vancouver. 2hrs away.

One of the Top 10 places to live in the world IMO.

You can do anything you want here. Skii, jet-skii, snorkel,
ice hockey, etc.. etc...and the weather is quite good.

I loved Vancouver when i was there. 2 weeks Vancouver
and 2 weeks Whistler Village.

That's exactly when I went. The village was sweet, our hotel was right in the village as well.

I may head back up there this spring break, damn I miss that place :).

BTW, if I go this spring I'm definitely going heli-boarding this time.
