Can it!! Cryptic abreviations are safer to type too. Taking D R O L is not illeagle. but taking Anadrol 50 - oxymetholone - is, lol.

I feel if you haven't done enough research to know what the common acronyms are, you probably have no business juicing in the first place.
It's all part of the learning process, trying to decipher them.

I never though it was a good idea, told him so. Looking up and doin g research is all part of it, a big part. Shit can it.
yesterday, everytime I wrote the word "as", it kept coming up anabolic steriods in the sentance.... can it!

Guys,

There is always some member concern when it comes to changes to the forum. Pretty much anything we have ever done here has met some resistance. All we ask is that you give it some time for us to workout the kinks. You will all be very happy with the results once we are done.

Not really a resistance just its a pain in the ass and i didn't think i was the only one who though so from what i have been reading.

CAN IT! underlining the abv. and linking it to a page explaining would've been good, but this makes it a pain in the ass to read.

most people dont like change, they fear it, the unfamiliar, that's why most men get married, they are tired of the chase, the fear of failure..

get over it..

it's here to stay..

just sayin....

BTW- Once the upgrade is fully integrated, you should be able to turn it off on your profile menu...

that was my idea, yer welcome!

^5, that is a good idea, still think the noobs don't need the advantages to get to the dark side any more than the older guys, I can see the place gettin flooded with stupid ass questions noobs anyway.

WAIT! now I get it, more noobs= more revenue= more $$, but too many noobs= less $$ from vets and older members leaving = less $$....

So where are ''noobs'' meant to go to learn then? How did you get your knowledge if you have never been a noob?

If the place is flooded with people asking questions then thats great and if you know the answer as it has been asked many times before then reply tot hem and help them as i am sure someone has done for you when you were just starting out.

IMHO there are no stupid questions that are asked its the ones that are not asked that are stupid.

We are all hear to learn and help others IMHO with Vets and older members being able to help the newer ones as Huck, E2, Ranger etc etc all did for us when we first started out here in Y2K

Wrongun!

With regards the upgrade then there is always a period of pain and people adverse to change.

The best way to get it right and improve it quickly is to post on the threads dedicated to asking what is right and wrong and let the development team implement as many of the requests and good ideas as they can.

Making loads of seperate posts like this hinders progress rather than helps it IMHO

I do not like the new feature myself but it has already been stated on other threads you will have the ability to turn it on or off. Fine move on and await that fucntionality and if you don't like it turn it off if you do then leave it on.

Done deal

when I started there was no internet! I asked bros in the gym like everyone else. Some 25 years later, when I came on here, I read, read some more, looked at 100's of diffferent sites for gear discriptions, I was not plat for almost a year before I even went plat and asked my first question. AND, my first question was a generic one introducing myself, my age, and asking for advise on how to best navigate the site being that it now had features that I hadn't used. That's it.

The best advise I got, besides Big Cracker telling me that I needed to get a toilet cam for when my son's girlfriends came over, was to read the stickys. Read the sticky's and then re-read them. After you have done that, go through the last years threads and look up answers for myself. If I have looked and can't find what I'm looking for, then ask a question. If I DID ask, tell the bros what I had found out to show them that I had done some of the homewrk for myself. That's how I learned. I added sites to my "favorites" when they were given in threads, and kept on looking, still am.
IMO, yes, there's plenty of stupid questions, ones that show you haven't done shit to find out the answer for yourself.....

IMHO, Wrongun...
