Dont you guys just ask yourselves is it worth it sometimes? It is to me...but sometimes i just ask myself why the fuck. Bulking, looking like a slug, not being able to party it up fully, geting those meals in, not doing things in general because you have to get your meal, workout and dedicate your time to bb'ing. This is one mother of a sacrifice. Oh well...there are no quiters. Arnold Didnt Quit. The end result will be worth it. But the road there can sure as hell suck.

I'm trying to do the same thing. lol

What are your goals?

I think now is the perfect time to get back into it. I have a cabinet full of oats & legumes, a freezer full of shrimp, chicken and veggies. Its a good feeling. I had a cheat last night and I didn't enjoy it as much as I use to. I think I'm going to have to cross pizza off the junkfood list.

Are you prepping for a competition or something? If not, then why do you let the bodybuilding lifestyle interfere with your quality of life to such an extent? Moderation buddy. You have to find that happy medium where it all works out in the end. Unless, like I said, you're competing, then you will undoubtedly be miserable for 12-16 weeks prior.

I am feeling yea bro...I get like that so ill slack a few days and then turn back up the heat just to break it up from the same old shit..But i think in another year ill be slacking down and just maintain what i got and enjoy life a bit more...But hell a hour a day 4 days a week doesnt really affect my life that much....Maybe you just need a break for a week or too.....What ever you do, do it for yourself and do what you feel you want to....

I don't do it becuase I find it "worth" it. It's just something that I do. Going to bars and drinking is foreign to me so I'd have a harder time doing that.

I love this sorta lifestyle, in a mild sense, that it gives me something constant in my life. I always have that diet and my workouts, and I like to do them week after week. It can help you from going off on wild tangents in life, I find. You dont really want to disturb your progress and thus, avoid things that you might normally not if werent living the healtheir lifestyle... Sorta helathier lifestyle lol

totally man

No, it's a lifestyle. Wouldn't have it any other way. I don't compete just do it for me and the girls, so I don't go overboard. Need a woman who is into like me. Someone who eats healthy and likes to relax a lot.

I was just weighing out all the pros and cons this weekend....cause if I am going to do it the time is now...it is your lifestyle.....

Even after 45+ years I have no regrets.

Unless you're going to turn pro it's not worth it. Some don't find that out til they wake up 35 years old and realize they haven't enjoyed life.
