Cystic Acne

How does it differ from "regular" acne? I have annoying acne on my shoulders (only place I ever seem to break out) that won't go away. Seems like little guys pop un fresh almost daily. They are fun to pop (total squirters bro!) but I'd like them to go away. Is it cystic? How can you tell? I shower twice daily and but alcohol on at night. Grrrr!

cystic would be more of a boil type whereas a foliculitis or regular type of pimple will come to a small white head and have some type of puss

cystic acne has puss as well, but you cant just pop them like a regular zit...it's like an oil gland gone bad. If the pore is blocked the oil gland will keep producing oil and this will form a puss pocket, sometimes you can pop them and get rid of them but more often than not if you pop them they will fill up again. The treatment is usually to surgically remove them.

Yeah there is a definite difference between regular acne and cystic acne. I recently have had it from Tren E, it pops up like a small zip, makes you think you can pop it, but when you try it is just a hard nodule. If you pop it (or tear it off) it is most likely going to scar. It is some nasty stuff!

use tooth paste. no shit i have my girl put tooth paste on all acne spots on my back. you will see a difference the first night you put on.

Cystic acne isn't your garden variety break out. It isn't usually treatable topically. Most acne, cyctic or not, can be treated with Doxycycline, an antibiotic that you can buy OTC for your fish. It can be had on Ebay pretty cheap. Erythromycin is a milder antibiotic option.

Topically you can use hydrogen peroxide or any benzoyl peroxide wash. I've also read that Acne Annihilator by Platinum Labz works pretty well. I haven't used it though...

Cystic ance is more like a boil and often painful. Check out platinumlabz.com ACNE ANNIHILATOR,,,it works wonders on acne,,,including cystic acne,

Thanks guys. I don't think what I have is cystic after reading your posts. Mine are small and painless and easy to pop. But when they pop, they have a "core" that needs to come out or else they just keep filling back up, like what I understand a cyst to be. I'm on a short bridge right now, so it could be the gear, but likely just me coming off test.

I think the antibiotic and a topical are likely in order...
