topamax is for migraines but a side effect is weight loss...but I really havent seen that. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't counteracting with the aas im taking. I am on a low dosage. Wellbutrin is known to cause more weight loss than weight gain. It increases dopamine and I could reduce the dosage if I knew if something was interfering. I hate to without knowing though because if it does cause weight loss and I reduce then I might gain before the show.
I understand what you are saying, but I still want to do the competition. I still have 4 weeks and I think I will be ready. Yes I am putting in alot of hard work but at the end of the day its worth it to me. Im sorry that happened to you....hopefully it wont to me. That is why I ask so many questions and try to stay on top of things as much as possible. Thank you for caring but I kindof feel like everytime I post on this board its more discouraging than supporting.
Not Wellbutrin!! Wellbutrin won't!! But I wouldn't be using prosac or any other SSRI like prozac within that category!! If you do that you might as well kiss your gains and your life good bye!!
Thanks bikinimom, I think some times I just need to hear encouragement because I am working so hard. I do feel like I know my body very well and know my limits, but I am aware that something always can happen to anyone. I have seen lots of improvement and have lost alot of bodyfat. I get it rechecked next week. So as long as I see progress I am going to keep going for it.
Yes the topamax for migraines 50 mg is very small dosage. And the Wellbutrin for a nuerotransmitter imbalance prescribed by naturopathic dr. several years ago. Since i have been on it my moods are stable and just alot better feeling of wellbeing.
Thanks
My dear, you NEVER know what the judges "du jour" want. As long as you are completely satisfied with your training/diet/result then you have won. I realize these are hollow words that fall on deaf ears of the competitor who did NOT win, but for those of us who have been there/done that you will hear that time and time again. From the one pic you posted you looked figure competition ready.... that is one pic. I am not here to blow smoke up your rear, just being honest.
Botton line is that you will never know what the judges from ANY competition will value until after the competition is over. I don't mean to sound like granny gloom and doom, but one thing you will NEVER hear from me, is BS.
Seriously, from what you posted, you looked good.
Please let us know how you did and if you would like further guidance. Every competition is a learnining experience.![]()
The ladies are right when it comes to the judges.
Also keep in mind the other bodies on stage have a lot to do with it. Its how you compare with the blend up there.
You being happy is the most important.
