Im planning a cutting workout beginning mid January in-prep of the warmer months. (Yes I'm looking ahead). Now, what type of split is good for muscle preservation during a caloric deficit? I know its not good to go to failure, and I plan to add cardio either 2-3 days a week and lift 2-3 days (keeping them separate).
Anyone have a good plan for this? Are there any premade routines on that training methods sticky that would fit the bill?
