Cutting Gel (I know! I know!)

I've read on this board that it doesn't work, and that it does work, and then that it doesn't work again. So i don't know what to think..but I doubt it really works as well as they say it does..Nothing ever works as well as people say it does, anyway..

So I was wondering how well, if at all, this works? WILL it shed a little fat? I mean, I only need a LIITLE bit of fat over my stomach to dissapear before my abs are out in full force. So I was wondering if a cutting gel would help out a little?

I heard something about Prep H being able to do the same thing as cuttin gel? Info, please?

Purely anecdotal I've never tried the H, but I plan to use both these products toward the end of my next cutting cycle.

Yes. Prep H and "cutting gel" are the same thing. And yes, cutting gel does work, it just doesn't do what it implies. There's nothing you can put on your skin to spot-remove fat. What cutting gel does is just what CM says; it'll remove that last little bit of water from the skin. The only people who would even notice any effects are those with low, single-digit bf%.

Oh yeah, while on the subject of bf%..

I went to the doctor recently, and I asked him about if he could do a body fat test, or whatever they're called. He told me that there was no such thing....What's up with this guy? Where else would I be able to get my body fat measured?

Couple options. Call your local hospitals. Usually one will have a dunk tank where they'll measure you for a fee. Also, there are mobile "dunk trucks" that travel to gyms once every quarter or so. You don't have to be a memeber at any particular gym to set up a time, just call around to the gyms and see if there is one scheduled.

Par Deus is talking about Lipoderm-Y. Basically topical preparations of Yohimbine HCL with the proper carrying agents are reputed (and reported by several Elitefitness regulars) to reduce fat where applied, especially on your abs. Yohimburn and Lipoder-Y are competing products and while Yohimburn is far more popular on this site, when the time comes I plan to try lipoderm-Y because it is cheaper and has more carrying agents (instead of just Peppermint oil).
