cutting and 3x5 question

ok, so I've finally got to my goal weight of 185 lbs. I'm making great progress on the 3x5 but would like to get rid of the extra fat for the summer. What changes do I need to make to keep my strength progress going but also lose a bit of the fat?

I'm currently eating meals like this on most days.

1 - 5 eggs, 4 pieces of toast, orange juice, banana
2 - 2 burgers, 4 pieces of bread, lots of veggies
3 - 2 chicken breasts, potatoes, veggies
4 - 2 tuna sandwiches, apple, cheese, etc

then throughout the day I drink a shit load of whole milk and lots of water.

also, I do no additional cardio.

any help would be appreciated. :artist:

My initial instinct is to not cut on the 3x5... because it relies on progress every time you go in the gym, and you are building the strength foundation... you really need the food to fuel your workouts.

You might want to add 2-3 cardio sessions a week to minimize the fat you DO add... but right now you need to ride the 3x5 until you really hit a wall. Generally that is sooner rather than later on that program anyways but you gotta milk it for all its worth.

If you want to cut the fat, reduce your cals slightly. Don't make any drastic changes, but switch from whole milk -> 2% and water throughout the day. Make sure you use whole wheat bread, and perhaps switch the morning toast to some whole grain oatmeal.
