cut or bulk? cant make up my mind

my type of body

6ft
185lbs
well defined (i look really cut in the gym(from what people say))
however, the only time my muscles are hard are right when im done working out and when i flex. throughout the day its soft. Is that considered water retention/bloat?

knowing that...do i want to cut or bulk?

reason to cut: +hardness/+Vascularity
reason not to cut: too low body fat (IMO i think its disgusting) might not get up to 195-200lbs

if I am gonna cut then I would prob stack test c with anavar
if i want to "bulk" with least amount of bloating prob eq

my questions: will anavar give me the same amount of gains in weight as eq? also, since both give a harden look, which will cut off more bf%? and by how much more?

cut in the summer and bulk in the winter!

agree. you dont want to be a bloated whale at the beach in the middle of july nor do you want to be at 5% bodyfat during christmas. i know some people who lean bulk all year, adding about 5 pounds of lean mass while maintaining 10-12% bodyfat.
 
so what do you recommend, var or eq? i pretty much want to increase my LBM, but i also do not want to lose too much more body fat.
 
Im about your height and I can't imagine cuting at 185 man...no offense maybe you like the thin look but right now Im about 245 and Im not fully sold on cuting more...im down due to some illnes from 260 so then maybe doing a lean bulk for the summer and hopfully settle on 250 at about 10% bf
THat;s what I think might be better for you just put on 5 lbs of leam mass while you shed some fat...IMO
 
Clean bulk. You can gain like 15-20lbs easy of very nice, solid muscle without really gaining any fat or bloat...but the key here is the diet. I think low dose Test + Var and insane diet, you will gain lbs of solid muscle and stay at your bodyfat or maybe drop it slightly. I agree with everyone about staying ripped for summer and bulking in the winter. It's the norm.

How old are you and what is your experience in the gym? What's your diet like?

Sounds like you're just looking to dick around with steroids.

MAybe you should just train hard for a while and see if you can put on some more muscle. Then you'll have more size and more leanness.

Yea 6'0'' 185lbs seems on the skinny side to me. I would go with somehting like Test and Winny or Test and EQ. Eat as much protein, clean carbs, and good fats as you can. You could definitely get up to about 200-205lbs on a 10-12 week cycle. Lift hard and intense. Just my 2c

yes, i want to increase my weight, i just dont want to look bloated, i just want to gain LBM

which is what im trying to figure out which would be better for me since i have no experience with eq or var.

conan is am 22yrs 4500cals, 250 protein all natural(low since i ran out of whey), 450com carbs, 150sim carbs. been training since i was 17, so about 6 years (got serious at the gym for about the last 1.5yrs)

winny i tottally agree with you, i think i am too skinny. which is why I want to put on the lbs, I just want solid ones (bc the muscle i have on me now isnt too solid :worried:)

also $ is an issue. Im just finishing up with college. and a cycle of eq (if you want good gains) is a 16+ week cycle.

to winny im not too skinny, just skinnier then i wish to be. I am one of the bigger guys at the gym (college gym)

as i stated before, money is an issue, and i use to use the camera on my laptop, but the piece of shiz is broken

Most of your gains can be solid and lean if you use proper ai's, drink plenty of water, keep your diet clean, and workout intense. Don't be so worried about bloating. Even if you gain 20 pounds you will look solid and lose any water weight when the cycle is done. People cannot just think they are going to gain that much weight so quick and it's going to be 100% pure muscle. If you do everything right and stay consistent you will love the results.

I'd say Var because it is simpler. It's an oral, so you're just swallowing pills. It gives you great gains with only 6 weeks of use. It will lean you out or help you stay lean. It changes the way your body looks and gives you a much more built look...bodybuilder style. I suggest something nice and easy, like 10 weeks of Testosterone Enanthanate at 250-400mg e/w and 40mg Anavar e/d weeks 5-11. I got huge on only 250mg of Testosterone. Some people start off with a little bit more. I wouldn't go over 400mg though. You don't even need the Anavar, it's just if you want to go the extra step and maybe get a more defined look you can throw it in at the end. And I say you should stay away from the Equipose because you will need to run it for 14+ weeks to see the full benefits. Also, you may think that the huge freaky veins may be a bit too much. Anavar gives you plenty of vascularity anyway. It's up to you. I just think a nice 10 weeker of long estered Testosterone at 1cc-2cc's a week is plenty for you to get big and strong and if you really feel compelled to get that hard chiseled look for the summer, throw in the Var.

If you are having a money issue...then just stick with some Test my man! Again, if you gotta go to the next step, you can finish your cycle with 4 weeks of 40mg e/d Oral Winstrol. It's cheap and it will give you a dry, hard look.
 
its easier to bulk up then strip the fat, then it is to lean bulk. you have to eat alot of food and you have to keep all the foods clean (whole wheat carbs, etc). Ive used winny, var, eq, all with test. my favorite would be test and winny. eq didnt give me much and i ran 600mg ew, var gave me great strength and slight fat reduction(not alot) but winstrol made me hard as a rock at 50-75mg ed. test prop and winny for 8 weeks, or test e or c for 12 weeks and winny for last 6-8 weeks (50mg ed for 8 weeks, 75mg for 6 weeks)
 
what's your diet like? Shouldn't be touching AAS without a very strict diet IMO.

Bulk for at least 9 months then cut next year, you'll be glad you did it. I started bulking pretty much last year at around 205lbs and got up to 245lbs. I have since cut down to 220 but I believe if I wouldn't have bulked and just built on top I wouldn't look as large as I do.

you could but after buling and eating alot for 9 months, its gonna be hard to diet down, imo. if you dont go too far away from your diet in the offseason, youll be bulky in the winter but you can see your abs a bit if you flex hard. imo, if you have abs, you shouldnt let the bulking get out of hand where you dont see any abs at all. theres no reason to bulk up to 20% bodyfat, thats just unhealthy.
 
Just do test prop/anavar for 6-8 weeks.

Test enth, cyp or sust will bloat you...how much depends on your genetics!
Eat clean with lots of protein

like i previously stated. my goal is 195-200. I dont really want to be a lot over 200lbs. so im thinking i might just stick with the var. however, as conan http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/members/conanx.htmlstated winstrol would be the cheaper decision. but would it help me put on those extra 15 lbs of solid muslce?
 
normally my oppinion is to cut when you feel unhappy with your fat %.its all very personal. what do you consider fat? once my abs are not so visible I know its time to diet down. I usually like to cut in spring though so I can show it off.
