customs has my package!! please help!

i made an overseas order the other day. it was sent express and was supposed to arrive yesterday. it never did so i called to track it. they said it is in customs and they have yet to clear it... am i gonna get fucked??? im really scared guys. please help
 
first how large was your order?
just because your package is in customs does not mean you are busted or that it has even been seized just be patient and pay attention to how long it sits there. worst case senario you may lose your gear
 
Dont panic yet bro..just wait it out and see if you get a customs slip saying it was taken...if you do just play dumb...lata g...
 
dont sweat it yet bro, i had a package that sat at the ups loading and unloading dock for like 4 days when i tracked it.....i called to take care of it and they said they couldnt get into my gate at my apts..i gave them the gate code and then boom it was there when i got home..i was worried but just sit it out evrything will be o.k

As a heads up, I know of at least 3 other people who are also seeing this with their packages for same "company". the packages have all been on hold in place of origination and then also in country of destination. Some more than a week, and they were all express packages. In my experience, this is not how they have gone in the past. I assume they were dhl packages. I would keep your eyes on this one bros, something is looking a little funny ( not the laughing kind) on this one.

Are you in US? I personally, didnt even know THEY used UPS. In all I have seen they were DHL. Could be wrong

I hired a crack team of ninjas to liberate my gear.
 
he is not using dhl anymore, he is using UPS. Dont worry bro my tracking # says the same. UPS express is nothing like DHL. Dont worry everything is good.
 
HE is still using DHL. Not sure where you got that info, I know of a half dozen or so DHL packages that are en route and have the same status as his UPS package.

yes, i can track it using ups, but it hasnt scanned since it left where it was comming from... so i called them and they told me it hasnt cleared customs yet... that is why i am worried
 
I don't know about the rest of these guys...but I'd be worried if it were happening to me. BTW, how expensive is this package you are waiting for?
 
When was it scanned in the originating country? what day was this on, It should take no longer than 24 to 36 hours EVER to clear customs.
 
Don't sweat it. I have seen this before. All it means is that it's in the pile waiting to go through customs. All packages have to go thru customs. Some they will open and some they won't. Sometimes they just get backed up and it takes a few days to clear customs.
 
He is using both dhl and ups due to the load of packages. my buddy works at ups and says there has been a lot of delays lately. Nothing to worry about. It took 8 days for mine to get here. Dont sweat it bro!

Personally........I enjoy the humor.......it breaks the air.......maybe the guy needs a little laugh to make him feel better. Maybe your test is too high.....lost your sense of humor. Lighten up.......these guys are funny. Personally when I'm in a load of shit & somebody cracks a joke.......I feel much better.......condition exists.......but I feel differently.......& if you say I had not seen much.....sheeeeeeeesh if I seen one more set of handcuffs from civilian or military authorities.....I think I'll die.

I had stuff seized once before and recieved my letter and I never heard anything after that, I wouldnt sweat it, but it does suck not to get your shit
 
Bro, you made a big mistake sending your overseas order with UPS and also sending it express. UPS and other couriers are much more likely to have their packages searched than USPS. The fact that it was sent express will also send up red flags. I hope you get your package, but be prepared for it to be seized. The best way to get overseas gear is to have it sent first class USPS. It takes longer but you are less likely to have your gear seized. Good Luck.

LMAO good point...dont hire anyone, get your shit yourself from those customs bastids.
 
they dont even have time to deliver the packages let alone search them for gear. by the way if you are using that tracking number on the net it is a waste of time. call the 1-800 pick-ups and have them track it for you. all packages get stopped in customs. just keep tracking it and let me know what they say.

Bro, don't worry just yet. I ordered an overseas package and it took 4 weeks but it made it. I thought for sure I was getting a letter in the mail telling me my package was at Customs.
 
good news!!! i think it was just being held up at UPS, because now when i track it, everything is up to date.... i should get it any day now :) thanks for all the support guys!!
