I'm on permanent TRT these days...

They've bumped me up to 400mgs of testosterone cypionate every two weeks..

it's better than androgel 5g, and 200mgs cyp e2weeks... but still weak sauce as fuck.

It's obviously real, as I get it from a doctor.. I have a blood test to check my levels this coming Wednesday.. (two weeks after last shot) I fear it will be "too high" given normal bullshit medical standards.. If it's too high he may lower my dose or not give me more..

Does anyone know a good way to temporarily lower blood-testosterone levels before that test? Citing evidence would help also..

I also have a high red blood cell count, not out of the normal range last checked but pushing it.. It was like 16-17 last time, at 200mgs e2weeks and the max is supposed to be 18-19ish he says.. he always worries I will have a stroke or something... Any ideas on how to /lower/ red cell count? -I know, not something we are normally after. (this one is just for future reference for me.. I think he's going to let me start getting drawn if the rbc count is too high and just up my test if possible.)

Donate blood before your test and try some Finasteride

"Many sports organizations have banned finasteride because it can be used to mask steroid abuse. Since 2005, finasteride has been on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s list of banned substances. Notable athletes who used finasteride for hair loss and were banned from international competition include skeleton racer Zach Lund, bobsledder Sebastien Gattuso, footballer Romário and ice hockey goaltender José Theodore."

Finasteride is is a synthetic antiandrogen which acts by inhibiting type II 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). I dont know for sure this will work in your situation, I just know this is what was used in the late 90's to get around testing. Ive also heard that if your not taking anything it gives you a small increase in free blood testosterone levels.

True.

I have a tricky "tendency" to give it an extra day or two on the end of the two weeks when I go to check baseline test levels lol... I was supposed to go in weds, I'm going in tmrw (friday)

It should help a little.

Just out of curiousity...you taking 400mg @ 2weeks and it's weak?
hmmm...something is wrong
You might consider injecting every week much better then spiking your levels sky high then crushing towards the end. 400mg will spike you levels way past 900-1000 and then it depends when you take your blood could be high but the closer to the next inject you will take the blood work the less the testosterone levels will be.
THat's horrible HRT if you ask me, you better off cycling if that's your intension...the up and down will cause a lot of problems with RBC, blood pressure and so on
Instead of trying to guess your levels why not try injecting 200mg every week instead?

I thought about this too Varga.

The endocrinologist himself agrees that weekly would be better than e2weeks for those reasons.. but he said it's less convenient for me. (I said I'd be fine with it, that I'd take shots every day if he'd let me..)

Another reason I like the bi-monthly injections is that I can show a low baseline and have higher total test..

for instance, when he goes to show anyone "asking questions" about why someone my age is getting (however much) testosterone, he can show the blood work he takes.. when doing the blood work two weeks after a shot, or like 16 days when I draw it out, it shows lower even taking higher doses than say half each week would..

Example:
400mgs, wait two weeks, blood levels = 100 (for instance, it will be higher)
200mgs, wait one week, blood level= 150-200 (again, for instance.)

So I can get more this way, and show lower on paper... I can always do my own shots on the side on those off weeks if I like. ): ]

Ok I see your point but what happenes doing it this way it gets your body on this yo-yo up and down rollacoaster.
It is much better mantaining a constant level of testosterone in your body with weekly shots regadless of what your doc wants to show.
For example I use 150mg a week and I add 100mg prop mid week. This way I constantly mantain a high test level of 8-900 every week thus avoiding any spikes. Trust me with levels like this day in and day out it's easy to gain muscle or lose weight.
If I want to cycle I do 400-500mg a week of test and that's plenty for me.

Your test levels shoudnt drop to 100 in any case!

you should be using 200 mgs a week, not 400 mgs every 2 weeks.

half of the time you will have very low levels relative to the week before.

They give them to me at the doc's office or I would...

...I considered bribing the male nurse into giving me just 200mgs to show low again, but the doctor is pretty cool.. I'd rather play it safe, since he's cool about it, than risk pissing him off bribing his staff.
