You have no idea what are saying. Jesus was referring to someone that more or less wimpely backhand slapped you. It didn't hurt it physically it was just a insult. He was saying turn the other cheek on that. He wasn't talking about if someone flying a 747 in an office building downtown New York killing thousand of innocent people and families that depended on them. Two totally different things. Btw maybe you should read about when Jesus comes back again he ain't coming back as he did first time. He is coming back to kick some ass for people that dissed him.

The reason being, you read the words of the bible and then twist them into whatever way suits you. You try to find ways of interpreting the words of the bible to justify your own ideas.

In other words, you don't live by the way of the bible. You live life your own way and then use the bible to try and justify it.

Here's the comparison so you can understand it more easily : -

Curling makes people like me at first glance think that the Christian faith supports things like torture and killing. This obviously isn't true, Christianity is a good religion with many many good people. Curling is not one of them.

Then there are the Muslim extremists. Their extreme and sometimes violent views make people think that the whole of Islam is evil. Again, this is not true and the vast majority of muslims, like christians are very good people.

Now, you see the comparison? Both types of people damage the image of their whole religion. There is no argument about this, it is fact.
