Looks cute...I didnt like the first one at all, too many issues with multiplayer games. Hopefully this going to console like Xbox 360 will fix that.

Yeah, I bought the first one maybe 3-4 months ago. Wasnt too impressed.

Now is the point where I would normally bust your chops for not liking yet another thing, but since we agree on this I'll let it slide.

Good man.

I once had a customer run a Nvidia 260 3 way SLI and that shit still couldnt be played at high res, always hated that damn game.... so many headaches and bad memories, that and age of conan...

they say that this one has been massively streamed down so it won't have to have 3 $700 cards in SLI or crossfire to play it....we shall see.

Well if a couple of consoles with 5 yr old hardware can play it @ 30fps, it shouldn't be a problem lol. Also the footage doesn't look all that impressive; really only slightly better than MW2 imo.

And lol @ people dissing the original Crysis. It isn't meant to be played like the typical shooter, but instead something like this-

The few faults it had:

-Performance hungry. Although that's expected considering how far ahead of the curve it was from everything else (and still is). A $700 PC (GTFO Alienware lolz) could currently run it smoothly at Very High settings.

-Generic story (even though MW2's was even worse lol)

-MP hackers, balance issues (which Crysis Wars corrected much of).

PC shooters are generally different than the typically linear, simplistic console shooters. Not to say all console shooters are bad, though just different in their approach for the intended audience.

The only positive that can come out of making a once PC-exclusive shooter multiplat is optimization. Although I hope that Crytek still includes the ability to do stuff like this-

or it'll end up being yet another victim of consolitis (which btw is as much a contributor to piracy as anything). Ahhh well even if that's the case, at least there'll still be someone who knows how to do a PC game justice-
