Cruisers are slow.

I would rather get out on a cruiser and enjoy the trip. My Harley was fast and loud, but I rarely got above 80. It was more of a relaxing time for me. The time spent riding on the back roads was the most enjoyable.

However, I could also enjoy going from red light to red light in town. Especially at night, when all you hear is your exhaust echoing of the buildings.;)

Find me a sport bike that weighs over 700lbs with a 300lb rider on it that will do 150 and I'll be impressed until then I'll keep my HOG.

what 'cha riden...night train here

I have a 113 in my bike and I whooped a kawasaki 1000 half sport bike looking thing the other day on the freeway. He pulled over at the same off ramp and said he had more(even though he didn't use obviously) he said were doing around 150ish. Not too shaby for a cruiser but mine is actually a chopper.

I guess that you can beat the Harley on about every race line...but you won't on the price or retaining value line.

Not sure what someone on a Harley would be thinking racing you...lol. Surely he didn't think that he would win...
