Cruisers are slow.
But they aren't designed for speed.
Some people dig poking around all slow and shit.
Cruisers, Harleys specifically, are more about a culture/lifestyle than anything else.

Both wil get you there but the Harley will get you there and you'll look good doing it.

Only a cruiser needs NOS
Sure, pure acceleration and speed are kinda fun, but I get most of my kicks riding the twisties. I couldn't care less how quickly my bike can accelerate or the top end. It's about overall design, not slapping a big engine in a machine that can't turn.
I live in a major metro area, so even on the highways, there are few opportunities to go 120+ anyway. And if I get caught, that's a lot of jail time even for 120mph and even though I have perfect driving record.
If I had the cash, I would get a cruser just for the hell of it, though. Sport vs cruiser are just different and they're both fun... just in slighly different ways...
