Critique routine please - too little? too much?

Here is my routine, does it look like its too much, too little, or is it just fubared?

I'm not seeing results like I thought I should for a newbie, but as far as overtraining goes- I've not gotten sick or a sore throat, but throughout most of the day I feel like shit (tired all the time, dull headache - I thought it was the creatine and the water retention)??? Help please

I am 24yo, 6', 190, 20%bf.

Supplements- pwo- shake, dex, 5g creatine, vit E, C, and multivitamin

Monday - Chest / Triceps


Tris – pushdowns, Bent-over extensions

Chest - flat bench, incline bench, flies, chest cable cross




Tuesday- Back / Forearms


back - seated Row, lat pull down,reverse flies, pull-ups, sldl

Forearms - wrist curls, reverse preacher curls





Wednesday

Abs - weighted crunches on exercise ball, reverse crunches, right/left oblique crunches




Thursday - Legs / Calves

Legs - Leg Ext, Leg Curls, squats, calf raises




Friday - Shoulders / Biceps

Shoulders – shoulder press, Row, lateral raise, front raises

Bis - preacher curls, concentration curls



Saturday-rest
sunday - rest
 
oops forgot that.

I do 3 sets, first set I usually do about 10, the other 2 sets to failure.

I start off by doing sort of a modified 5x5 I do five sets of:
mon-flat bench or incline bench
tues-deads
thurs-shoulder press
fri-squats
 
IMHO.

Your tired and you feel like shit for good reason.....Your working out 5 days in a row with NO REST. You need to throw a rest day (or two) in between your 5 days of workouts.

More of IMHO stuff:

Chest: Lose the flys and cable crossovers and do dips instead.

Tri`s: Lose the extensions and pushdowns and do skull crushers and/or close grip bench instead.

Back: Your doing pulldowns AND chins (redundant). Lose the pull downs focus on chins (with focus on doing weighted chins).

Shoulders: Lose the front raises (redundant).

Bi`s: Lose the concentration curls.: Do alternate DB curls or heavy basic BB curls instead.

Just my 2 cents.

thanks for the advice. But can you help me fit that rest day in... Should I train abs on leg day... or what? My gym is closed on sundays, and close at noon on sat (I'm still at work)
 
I would do abs on another one of your days and take Wed. off.

How much sleep do you get each night on average?
 
I would put abs with legs. I usually notice that shoulder routines generally work the abs(more specifically front raises) - but its hard to avoid some overlap.
