Ok, anybody actually drink this shit? I've never drank it but I've drank some Dom Pérignon and it tastes like ass. Why is it that those Surrender Monkey French charge $350 a bottle for this stuff? If you tell me, "Fistfullofsteel, it tastes better than the hottest pussy you have ever tasted, you have to try it," then surely I will buy it and drink it like there is no tomorrow.

Actually, I don't like Dom at all, but Cristal really is very excellent! There are others far cheaper though that are wonderful, too. I think you would be paying for the name a bit with cristal, but it is still my favorite for taste.

for value, I really enjoy Perrier Jouet. I know some really enjoy veuve cliquot, which is very good, but it tastes a little closer to dom than it does to cristal.

I still think the ones from the Champagne region of france are the best. I will pick up random ones and try them.

If you ever want a really, really el cheapo sparkling wine that still tastes good you can get freixenet in the black bottle at the supermarket for something like $12...lol. I'm not much of a snob about what I like or don't like. I think it tastes good for the price!

Seriously, though, go out and try Perrier Jouet and tell me what you think. I think it is delicious. I don't recall the price. Perhaps $40. I really don't recall.

Buying bottles at restaraunts is RIDICULOUSLY high. I think you can get cristal for something like $175 in a liquor store. Once again, my recollection of prices sucks...lol.

both are slightly sweeter than dom. Dom is VERY DRY. They have a nice toast/pear sort of taste, IMO. I LOVE them.

If you have a girly girl over. Pour an ounce or two of peach shnapps into a good glass of champagne. They taste like HEAVEN together.
