i think ef should implement a minimum post read count before allowing members to post questions. some of these questions latley can easily be answered with the search function, and yes non-plats can search through google. sorry for the rant but im just dumbfounded sometimes at the lack of research involved before one posts or at that matter injects

If a knowledgable guy comes aboard and has something to say to a certain post that will help someone then that is not fair.
This has always been the case on here bro and will continue to.
The best we can do is what we are doing now and making sure stats are given and if it's too late to give advice on a cycle etc; we will give as much advice as we can to help.

im not saying we shouldnt help someone out for a foolish mistake, but i do think they should attempt to research the problem for at least 10 mins before posting. ehh and even at 20 minimum post read count would be better then nothing, thats a lot more im sure then what a lot of these guys are doing and thats hardly too many to keep a knowledgable guy from contributing.

It is not only this but how would one measure 'post read'?

People will just click on post links repeatedly and it will count for a post read...Or they could open different posts in numerous browsers. Something like this could not be accurately monitored.

Additionaly as someone pointed above, people could have 20 years experience with using, a PHD holder, a personal trainer or a pro and more suited to answer a few questions than anyone else. However does it mean that if he has just registered he is unable to answer a question despite reading all other answers by other members are completely wrong? (No disrespect to anyone).

No need to penalize someone for asking a question. If your not a plat search suxs... Instead of turning new members away by not helping them its better to act welcoming and hopefully pick a few good members up every now and then.
