Creatine

agreed, 12lbs is over 5kg, 5kg of water is over a gallon. Creatine puts an extra gallon of water stored somewere in your body ontop of what you already have?

I wouldn't be shocked at all, the average person generally gains 10-15 pounds of water weight from creatine. I have talked to many guys at the gym who gained 10 pounds that dropped right off when they stopped taking creatine. They probably were not drinking enough water though. Look at it like this:

Average human= 60-70% water
Younger people tend to be higher

So we'll say em is 65% water weight
That means he is 120 pounds of water. A gallon weighs about 8 pounds. That means em is made up of 15 gallons of water. So why is it so hard to comprehend that he gained 1-1.5 gallons of water weight?
